Sirens warning of incoming rocket fire are blaring in southern Israel.
The Red Alert sirens are heard in Kfar Aza, Kibbutz Sa’ad, Kibbutz Alumim, and Nahal Oz.
The sirens came moments after Israeli security forces killed at least one Palestinian terrorist near the Kibbutz Sa’ad overnight in an exchange of gunfire.
According to initial reports by Channel 12, security forces spotted a suspicious vehicle near the Gaza area community. It had crossed into Israel from the Palestinian enclave, according to the report.
Forces opened fire, killing at least one terrorist, the report says.
