Start-Up Nation Central (SNC), a nonprofit that promotes Israeli innovation around the world and supports the local tech ecosystem, has appointed Guy Hilton as general manager.

The appointment comes as the organization marks its fifth year of activity. SNC connects Israeli entrepreneurs to governments, corporations, academic institutions and nonprofit organizations globally resulting in investments, joint ventures, acquisitions and the setting up of accelerators and R&D centers, SNC said in a statement.

Hilton will run the day-to-day operations, marketing, and product development and will report to CEO Eugene Kandel, who is in charge of SNC’s strategy, external relations.

“We are responding to growing interest from across the globe and from within Israel. To meet this demand, we are developing talent within our organization and adding new talent,” Kandel said.
