The IDF and Shin Bet uncovered a terror cell operating in Hebron and Nablus, Israel Radio reported Thursday.
According to the report, one of the members of the cell, which belonged to the Popular Font for the Liberation of Palestine, admitted that he had carried out a shooting attack on an Israeli vehicle near Wadi Qelt.
In his interrogation, the suspected terrorist said he was in contact with organization activists in Jordan and claimed they had been in contact with Hezbollah.
According to Israel Radio, four additional PFLP activists, among them a 30-year-old woman, were arrested as well.
In early May, an Israeli vehicle was fired upon in the West Bank along the main road between Jerusalem and the Dead Sea near Wadi Qelt. There were no injuries reported.

The vehicle’s passengers were a resident of Mevasseret Zion and a European tourist.
The two were taking a hike in the area when they noticed a Palestinian man nearby, who opened fire after the two returned to their car and started driving away.
