Boy, 4, dies from injuries in Sea of Galilee
Parents and lifeguard suspected of negligence in drowning

A four-year-old boy died Sunday at Poriya Medical Center in Tiberias after near-drowning at the Sea of Galilee’s Zinbari Beach on Saturday morning.
Emergency rescue personnel gave the boy preliminary treatment and evacuated him to the hospital after placing him on life support.
Suspecting negligence, police took the child’s parents and the lifeguard in for questioning and were investigating the incident.
