Two Gazans caught sneaking into Israel

IDF halts unarmed men who managed to get three miles into Israeli territory; circumstances unclear

Israeli security personnel on Wednesday arrested two Palestinians suspected of crossing the border into Israel from the Gaza Strip.

The two men made it five kilometers (three miles) into Israeli territory near Kibbutz Be’eri before being stopped by IDF soldiers. At the time of their arrest the two men were not armed, Channel 10 reported.

The men were taken in for questioning.

The circumstances of the incident remained unclear.
