12 arrested after Haredi mob attacks female soldiers, riots in Bnei Brak

Police have arrested 12 people after a mob of Haredi men attacked two female soldiers, overturned a police car and set an officer’s motorcycle alight in Bnei Brak.
Chief Commissioner Danny Levy is en route to the scene of the riots, which broke out after police managed to extract two servicewomen who came under attack in the ultra-Orthodox city.
Large forces are operating in the area to restore public order.
