2 women bitten by snakes; teen, allergic to milk, dies after eating chocolate

A four-year-old child and a 60-year-old woman were hospitalized in Petah Tikvah and Tel Hashomer after being bitten by snakes. Both were listed as being in moderate condition.

Earlier, a 6-year-old Arab Israeli child from the village of Iksal, in the north, was evacuated to the Rambam hospital in Haifa with moderate injuries, apparently after being hit by a car.

A seriously wounded man and lightly wounded woman were taken to Hillel Yafe hospital in Hadera. Both, from the Arab village of Jisr a Zarka, were wounded by gunfire. The village is inside sovereign Israel and the shooting is unrelated to violent eruptions across the West Bank and Jerusalem in the wake of a terror attack early Friday morning.

A 17-year-old teen from Sderot died in hospital after eating chocolate. The teen was allergic to milk.
