Police in Australia say they have charged Naveed Akram, who is accused of opening fire on a Jewish event on Sydney’s Bondi Beach, with 59 offenses, including a terror charge.
The terror attack at a Hanukkah celebration on Sunday killed 15 people and injured dozens.
Akram, 24, who was critically wounded and woke from a coma yesterday, carried out the attack with his father, Sajid, who was killed at the scene.
Akram declines to be interviewed by detectives, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
