IDF announces planned military drill in south

The Israel Defense Forces says it will be holding a military exercise in southern Israel today and tomorrow.
Explosions are expected to be heard, and flares launched by the army will be seen in the area, the IDF tells residents.
The IDF says the drill is preplanned, meaning it did not stem from a new assessment.
The drill is expected to end tomorrow evening.
