A Hamas commander and three other operatives were killed in separate strikes in the Gaza Strip yesterday, the military announces.

One strike in Gaza City killed Osama Naim Hamdi Shamlakh, a commander of a cell in Hamas’s naval force, the IDF says.

The military says Shamlakh worked to rebuild the naval force throughout the war and recently, as well as advance attacks “in the maritime domain.”

A separate strike in northern Gaza killed three armed Hamas gunmen who the military says were advancing attacks on troops.

“The terrorists posed an imminent threat to the troops and were eliminated in precise aerial strikes,” the IDF adds.
