IDF: Objects hurled at Syrian border were anti-personnel mines

The Israel Defense Forces says objects hurled by four Syrian suspects at the border with the Golan Heights earlier were anti-personnel mines.
Earlier today, Israeli troops opened fire at the suspects, injuring and arresting one.
Initially the IDF said the items thrown at the border were unidentified.
“From the inspection of the findings in the field, it became clear that the objects that were thrown are anti-personnel mines,” the IDF says in a new statement.
