IDF says drone crashed in southern Lebanon due to technical malfunction

An IDF drone crashed yesterday in the Labbouneh area of southern Lebanon due to a technical malfunction, the military says.

According to the IDF, there is no concern of an intelligence leak, and the incident is under investigation.

Labbouneh lies near one of the five strategic hilltop positions still held by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon after the November 2024 ceasefire agreement.
