IDF says false rocket alarm activated near Gaza border community, no sirens sounded

A false alarm warning of suspected rocket fire was activated near the Gaza border community of Kibbutz Alumim a short while ago, the military says.
The alert was only sent on the Home Front Command’s mobile application, and no actual sirens sounded in the community.
The military says it was a “false identification” and there is “no fear of a security incident.”
