IDF strikes Hezbollah weapons depots in south Lebanon, citing ceasefire violations

The IDF says the strikes it carried out a short while ago targeted weapons-storage shafts used by Hezbollah at several sites in southern Lebanon, after it detected activity at the locations in recent months.
According to the military, the targeted facilities were being used to store weapons and their continued operation constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF says it will continue to act to remove “any threat to the State of Israel.”
Beirut proclaimed last week that it had disarmed Hezbollah in the area of Lebanon south of the Litani River, but Israel cast doubt on the announcement.
