IDF strikes Palestinian Islamic Jihad command centers in Gaza Strip

Emanuel (Mannie) Fabian is The Times of Israel's military correspondent.

The Israel Defense Forces says it has carried out airstrikes against another two Palestinian Islamic Jihad command centers in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, the IDF struck two similar command centers, housed in residential buildings. Yesterday, four such command centers were hit.

The military first warned the occupants of the buildings to clear the area before carrying out the strike, the IDF says.

The IDF says the headquarters are used by Islamic Jihad’s rocket array to plan and carry out attacks on Israel.
