Iran reportedly arrests 5 in Yazd, accusing them of ‘collaborating with Israel’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIran has arrested five people in central city of Yazd for taking pictures and “collaborating with Israel,” Iranian news sites report.
The arrests were made as Iran and Israel continue to target each other after Israel launched its biggest-ever offensive against its longtime foe in a bid to prevent Tehran, which frequently calls for Israel’s destruction, from developing a nuclear weapon.
Iran often arrests people it accuses of spying for Israel, usually without producing evidence to back up the allegations.
