Iran threatens US-linked facilities in UAE after strikes on Iranian islands
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says that US interests in the United Arab Emirates, including ports, docks and military locations, are legitimate targets, after US forces attacked Iranian islands, Iranian state media reports.
In its statement, the IRGC urges residents in the UAE to evacuate ports, docks, and US military shelters to avoid civilian casualties.
Earlier today, Bloomberg News reported that some oil loading operations in the port of the UAE’s Fujairah, outside the Strait of Hormuz, had been suspended after a drone attack and fire.
