The Israel Defense Forces says its fighter jets struck a number of sites belonging to the Hezbollah terror group in southern Lebanon, in response to attacks on the border today.

The IDF says one of its tanks also shelled an anti-tank missile squad preparing an attack in the Yiftah area.

Today, the IDF says anti-tank missiles and mortars were fired at military positions near Margaliot, Arab al-Aramshe, and Yiftah, as well as the communities of Shomera and Mattat.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for some of the attacks.
