Man lightly wounded in suspected stabbing attack near Modiin, attacker shot

An Israeli man is lightly hurt in a suspected stabbing attack at the Shilat junction near Modiin in central Israel, medics say.

The man is stabbed in his hand, according to medics reporting from the scene.

The alleged assailant has been shot, the Zaka emergency service says.

There is no immediate comment from the Israel Defense Forces or Israel Police on the incident.
