Netanya mayor: We won’t let terrorists disrupt our lives

Netanya Mayor Miriam Feirberg-Ikar strikes a defiant note after a terrorist stabs and wounds two people in the city, vowing that such attacks will not derail residents’ lives.

“We, the residents of Netanya, will not allow a vile murderer to disrupt life in the city,” she says, according to Maariv. “I wish the wounded a speedy recovery, and hope they soon return soon to their normal routine.”

She adds: “This is a despicable act by a terrorist whose sole purpose was to harm Israelis wherever they are, out of a desire to disrupt our lives.”
