Netanyahu summons top advisers for security consultation today

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is calling top advisers and ministers together for a security consultation at 5 p.m., the offices of two of the attendees tell The Times of Israel.

The full security cabinet is scheduled to meet on Tuesday.

The meetings come as domestic unrest expands in Iran, and after a top Iranian official threatened to attack Israel if the US strikes the Islamic Republic.
