Palestinian Authority: Four wounded, one seriously, by IDF gunfire in Nablus

Four Palestinians were wounded by IDF gunfire in Nablus, including one with a serious chest wound, the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Health says.

Footage from the city in the northern West Bank shows troops firing guns and setting off smoke bombs, and locals pelting military vehicles with bullets.

Citing Red Crescent emergency center chief Amid Ahmed, WAFA, the PA’s official news agency, identifies the four wounded as young men, one of whom was shot in the knee while the two others were injured by shrapnel, one of them to the head.

According to WAFA, the IDF raided part of Nablus’s Old City as troops deployed in other areas, where they clashed with locals.

It was unclear from the report if the four wounded people were shot in the same area or in separate incidents.

The IDF does not immediately comment.
