Police chief visits Rahat: ‘Any who endanger innocents — on their own heads be it’

After holding a situational assessment in Rahat, Police chief Kobi Shabtai says police view shootings on cafes and cultural institutions as a form of terrorism.

“Anyone who carries illegal weapons and endangers innocent civilians — on their own heads be it,” he says. “”We will invest large forces and resources to bring the criminals to justice.”

Shabtai adds that several suspects have been arrested and weapons confiscated over the latest outburst of violence in the town.
