Police say they foiled an attempt by a Palestinian man to carry out a stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Last night officers arrested a West Bank resident who was found to be carrying a pair of scissors hidden in a packet, police say.
He was detained after acting suspiciously and taken for questioning where he admitted planning to a stabbing attack.
