Rocket alert sirens in northern town Yiftah
Rocket alert sirens sound in the northern community of Yiftah, close to the border with Lebanon.
The Israel Defense Forces later says a number of mortars landed in open areas causing no injuries.
Last week, the Defense Ministry’s National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) began to evacuate the community amid repeated rocket and missile attacks by Hezbollah and allied Palestinian factions in the last two weeks.
