Shin Bet chief says Israel thwarting cyber-attacks from ‘all over the world’

The head of the Shin Bet says his agency thwarted cyber-attacks targeting Israel from “all over the world” during the past year.

Speaking at the CyberTech conference in Tel Aviv, Nadav Argaman says “cyber is today a central tool in our daily work thwarting terror.”

“The ability of our enemies now to shorten the process of acquiring breakthrough technologies requires us to be better than before and to be at the front of global technology, and that is what we strive to do,” he says, according to the Ynet news site.
