Yamina MK Shirly Pinto, the first deaf member of Knesset, says she will not run with the new Zionist Spirit party in the upcoming elections.

Yamina, now under Ayelet Shaked, announced a joint run last week with Yoaz Hendel’s Derech Eretz party under the Zionist Spirit banner.

Pinto says she made her decision after talks with Shaked and says she will continue to work to advance the cause of the differently-abled in Israel.
