Three violent attacks took place across Israel on Friday. In one incident, a 19-year-old boy, Ahmed Tamer, was shot and killed and a 17-year-old was injured in Jaljulia, an Arab town in central Israel. In a separate incident, two young men were also shot at in Jaffa — one of them seriously injured.

The shooting in Jaljulia occurred outside a community center. The victims were rushed to Beilinson hospital in neighboring Petah Tikva, where Tamer died from serious wounds. An initial investigation revealed that a number of people were standing outside the center and an argument broke out, which led to the fatal shooting. Police have detained two of the suspects and they are searching for two additional ones.

The other shooting occurred on a Jaffa street, when an unknown assailant shot at a 22-year-old resident of Jaffa and a 20-year-old resident of Ramle. The man from Jaffa is in serious condition and the Ramle resident sustained light injuries. The two were rushed to nearby Wolfson Hospital. Tel Aviv police are investigating the shooting.

In an earlier incident Friday, a 34-year-old man was stabbed in Lod, a predominantly poor Tel Aviv suburb. Police believe the attack was criminal-related but that it began as a dispute between neighbors. The victim is reportedly in serious condition.
