Israeli planes hit the Gaza Strip early Monday morning, hours after a Kassam rocket was shot into the Eshkol region.

The Israel Defense Forces said air force planes bombed a “terror target” in the northern Gaza Strip in retaliation for rocket fire aimed at Israel over the past several days.

Two Kassams were fired into the Eshkol region on Sunday, including one around 11 p.m.

No injuries or damage were reported in those attacks.

On Friday, a Kassam rocket hit a home in Sderot, damaging its roof and lightly injuring a woman.

The IDF responded hours later by attacking two targets in the Strip.
