The Tower of David has the longest Timeline on Facebook, with recorded events dating back to 1099.

The Timeline of the citadel is filled with events recorded by photographs, films and illustrations recounting its history. The originals are available for viewing at the site’s museum, located at the entrance to Jerusalem’s Old City.

Events and illustrations on the Timeline include accounts of kings, princes and generals, as well as the stories of  regular pilgrims ranging from the time of the Crusades to the modern pilgrims that today flock to the city from every corner of the earth.

The museum’s media director, Einat Sharon, told The Times of Israel that a request had been made of Facebook to enable a timeline going back all the way to the second century BCE, but Facebook timelines can only go back to 1099.
