A car crash in southern Israel on Friday killed a 20-year-old; two others were lightly injured.

Initial investigation of the accident found that a car swerved out of its lane near Hura junction, struck a tractor, and flipped over.

Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived on the scene pronounced the victim dead and brought the two people who were injured to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.

Later Friday evening, a vehicle hit a moped in Tel Aviv, seriously injuring the two riders. The two were taken to Sourasky Medical Center Ichilov in Tel Aviv for treatment. Police took the driver of the car into custody for investigation.
