Rehovot man kills 87-year-old father with ax, stones and knife
Suspect turns self in after crime; police investigating motive
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Rehovot man, 28, apparently killed his 87-year-old father on Thursday morning and then called police to report the deed.
Police arrived within minutes with guns drawn and arrested the man, who confessed to the crime. Paramedics were called to the scene, but were unable to revive the victim.
According to the police, “The son cruelly killed his father; he used stones, stabbed him with a knife and smashed his head with an ax.”
Police say they are investigating the motive behind the incident, which drew a large crowd of neighbors and relatives to the scene.
