American TV actress Alyssa Milano — known for her roles in shows like the 1980′s Who’s the Boss? and the 1990′s Charmed — sought to raise awareness about the bloodshed in Syria by linking to a “sex tape” on Twitter.
Earlier this week, she tweeted the following post: “My sex tape was leaked. Not sure what to say. Going to post the link myself to try to control the situation.”
The link leads to a 2:20-minute video on the comedy website “Funny or Die,” co-founded by Will Ferrell, of Milano and a man, both wearing bathrobes and holding drinks, making their way to a bedroom.
The next shot shows Milano, robe-less, then a rose petal-covered bed occupied by her co-star holding a remote. As the couple seems about to get busy, Milano kicks the camera to point at the TV, which is broadcasting a report about the war in Syria.

A mirror by the TV, reflects the couple’s movements on the bed — all under the sheets — while their sounds (of mostly laughter) can be heard in the background.
The TV reports gives an overview of the history of Syria, the events that started the popular uprising against Assad in March 2011, the recent reports of an alleged chemical weapons attack near Damascus on August 21, which the US says killed 1,429 people, and US efforts for military intervention.
Milano can then be heard telling her partner to “change the channel.”
The video was viewed almost four million times by Saturday.
A day after her sexy post, Milano published another tweet about Syria:
