Body of drowned woman found near Banias River
20-year-old was swimming and climbing rocks near a waterfall with her boyfriend
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe body of a 20-year-old girl, who is believed to have drowned while swimming in the northern Banias River waters with her boyfriend, was found some 200 meters away from the place she went missing Saturday.
Authorities suspect she had lost control while she and her boyfriend were climbing near a waterfall. Her boyfriend managed to maintain his grip on the rocks and is alive.

The police in nearby Kiryat Shmona were investigating.
The couple were located near the foot of the Hermon Mountain in the Golan Heights.
