JERUSALEM (AP) — Palestinians say extremist Jews have scrawled their home in a West Bank village with offensive graffiti in retaliation for an upcoming demolition of a Jewish outpost.

Resident Ayid Mazloum, 47, says the men sprayed his home with “Death to the Arabs” before being chased from the village of El-Jinya.

Other graffiti refers to an unauthorized settlement outpost that Israeli forces demolished in January, and to another outpost slated for demolition in March.

Mazloum says the vandals were discovered early Sunday morning and fled to the nearby Israeli settlement of Talmon.

Some extremist Jews have damaged Palestinian property in retaliation for Israeli government action against settlers.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said the army was investigating.
