Air defenses intercept a “suspicious target” identified off the coast of Acre in northern Israel, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

No sirens sound in Acre or nearby towns “according to protocol,” according to the military, as the target is not deemed to be a threat to civilians.

The incident comes amid repeated attacks from southern Lebanon by the Hezbollah terror group and allied Palestinian factions, including the launch of missiles and drones on northern Israel.
