Ben Gvir’s office says minister held ‘situational assessment’ with authorities

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s office says that the cabinet member left his bunker for several hours this afternoon to conduct a “situational assessment” with police, the prison service, and the fire and rescue services.
Ben Gvir is said to have discussed how to deal with the sites of missile strikes, “incitement,” and “terrorist celebrations in prisons, if they occur,” among other things.
“Minister Ben Gvir is full of appreciation for the police, the fire and rescue services, and the prison service, who worked throughout the last 24 hours to save the lives of civilians,” his spokesman says.
