Bennett said to propose keeping unvaccinated kids from schools

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is proposing that unvaccinated children be kept out of schools, while those who have been inoculated continue to learn in educational institutions, Channel 12 news reports.

According to the report, the prime minister wants children from the age of 5 who are eligible for the vaccination but have not been vaccinated to be barred from entering school premises and forced to study via distance learning.

The channel quoted health officials as calling the proposal “particularly extreme” and voicing opposition to it, and noted that it was unclear if such a proposal would have the support of a majority in the cabinet.
