A bus driver in his 50s was stabbed and moderately hurt on Hatayasim Street in Tel Aviv, the Magen David Adom ambulance service says.

Police say the suspected stabber, a 21-year-old Tel Aviv resident, was arrested after fleeing the scene.

Law enforcement officials believe the incident followed an argument between the driver and the passenger, and was not a terror attack.

The wounded man is taken by MDA to Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan.
