CENTCOM chief welcomes Sinwar’s death, says more terrorists ‘should expect the same fate’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS Central Command (CENTCOM) chief Gen. Michael Kurilla congratulates Israel on the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, and warns that “those who choose the path of terrorism should expect the same fate as Sinwar.”
Calling attention to the hostages still captive in Gaza, among them seven US citizens, Kurilla says that CENTCOM’s “support to the Israel Defense Forces remains ironclad.”
“Our commitment to countering terrorists throughout the Middle East, with allies and partners, continues to be a top priority,” he adds.
"Congratulations to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the elimination of Yahya Sinwar, the mass-murdering leader of the terrorist group, Hamas…Those who choose the path of terrorism should expect the same fate as Sinwar."
