Far-right activist: Police beat protesters in Amona synagogue
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFar-right activist Itamar Ben-Gvir rejects police claims that protesters recently removed from the synagogue at Amona used tear gas on cops, and says officers beat those inside.
“I saw police beating protesters, using tear gas,” Ben-Gvir, who is also a lawyer, tells Channel 2. “There was police violence.”
He also condemns any attacks on police, saying that such action “is painful for me.”
