Firefighting plane called to help battle brushfire near Jerusalem
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Israel Fire and Rescue Services says it has called in a firefighting plane to help extinguish a brushfire that broke out near Jerusalem.
The service says the blaze off Route 1 currently doesn’t pose any threat to homes in the communities of Givat Ye’arim and Sho’eva, but that one lane of the highway has been shuttered.
