Gazans report Israeli shelling around Gaza City

Hamas-linked news sources in the Gaza Strip claim that Israeli forces have shelled several sites around Gaza City over the early morning hours.

The Quds News outlet also claims an airstrike targeted an area of the eastern neighborhood of al-Tuffah.

No casualties are reported.

There is no immediate comment from the Israel Defense Forces.

Israeli strikes in Gaza City were reported to have “significantly subsided” on Saturday, after the IDF was ordered to halt offensive operations there and move to purely defensive action amid a push by US President Donald Trump to bring about an end to the war.
