Hamas informed mediators it will release four hostage bodies at 10 p.m.
Hamas has informed mediators it will begin transferring the bodies of four deceased Israeli hostages to Israel at 10 p.m., an official involved in the operation tells Reuters.
A senior Red Cross official tells The Times of Israel that the transfer of the bodies is slated to take place at 10 p.m. tonight, confirming earlier reports.
The Qatari Al Araby channel reports that the transfer of the hostages’ bodies will take place from two different locations in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Israeli officials said the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt would stay closed at least through tomorrow, and the flow of aid into the Palestinian enclave would be reduced to put pressure on the terror group to hand over the bodies of the hostages it is holding.
