Hamas may continue ceasefire, Lebanese website says

Despite media reports that Hamas has decided not to renew the ceasefire, the group refuses to formally confirm or deny.

Now, the Lebanese al-Mayadeen website reports that Hamas may continue the de facto ceasefire without formally agreeing to its extension.

An editor of the Palestinian Ma’an news agency also says Egypt has put enormous pressure on Hamas, including in late-night meetings Thursday, to extend the ceasefire for three more days in order to continue discussions on a more permanent arrangement.
