Hamas operative planning sniper attack on troops in Gaza targeted by drone strike, IDF says

A Hamas operative who was planning a sniper attack against troops stationed in the Gaza Strip was targeted in a drone strike earlier today, the military says.
According to the IDF, the operative was “involved in advancing a sniper attack against IDF troops operating in the southern Gaza Strip, in the immediate time frame.”
“The terrorist posed an immediate threat to IDF troops, and was therefore struck in a precise manner to remove the threat,” the military says.
