Health Ministry panel said leaning toward backing COVID booster shot for ages 12-15

Most experts in the Health Ministry’s policy-setting team back COVID-19 booster shots for teens aged 12-15, Hebrew media reports.

This would make it likely that the third vaccine dose will be approved soon for that age group.

Additionally, most of the experts reportedly support a three-week break between the first and second Pfizer doses for ages 5-11, the same as with adults. The inoculation of that age group is expected to begin Tuesday.
