BEIRUT, Lebanon — Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group says it launched rockets on Sunday at an Israeli army base east of the northern city of Safed.

Hezbollah fighters fired “a big rocket salvo” at an Israeli army base east of Safed, the group says, adding the attack was “in defense of Lebanon” and “in response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on villages and homes.”
