IDF issues guidelines for staying safe under rocket fire

With the return of rocket fire from Gaza, the IDF reissues guidelines for staying safe under rocket fire.

Those living at a distance of less than seven kilometers from Gaza must stay within a 15-second run from a bomb shelter or protected room.

Civilians are urged to avoid touring or hiking in the Gaza periphery area.

At distances of seven to 40 kilometers, the IDF’s Home Front Command has limited public gatherings to under 500 people.

At distances of up to 80 km, no gatherings of over 1,000 people are allowed in open spaces.
