IDF puts full closure on Palestinian territories for Yom Kippur
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael is placing a full closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip for the duration of the Yom Kippur holiday, the IDF announces.
In accordance with an order from Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, the closure will begin at 12 p.m. Tuesday and be lifted at midnight on Wednesday. The passage into Israel from the West Bank and Gaza will only be permitted in conjunction with the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Ynet says.
